Visa to Tunisia, customs rules
Visa-free entry to Tunisia
Citizens of Russia, Lithuania, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia entering Tunisia on tourist vouchers and following direct flights for a period of no more than 90 days, no visa is required. Moreover, if earlier there was a rule about the need to follow only as part of a tourist group, now visa-free entry is also available for independent tourists.
For visa-free entry, you must have a passport with a validity period of at least 3 months and a completed immigration card (issued on board the aircraft or before passport control). After checking the documents, the passport control officer will stamp your passport and give you a part of the immigration card that will be needed when leaving the country. When traveling to Tunisia with unaccompanied minor children or with one of the parents, it is necessary to have a notarized power of attorney in the name of the person accompanying the child.
A stamp for a visa-free stay in Tunisia is free of charge, however, when leaving the country, a fee of 30 dinars is charged, which is about $ 14 or 900 rubles. Payment is made by purchasing a special stamp at the departure airport at currency exchange offices. After purchasing it, you need to paste it into your passport and go to passport control. They will not put a stamp on departure without a stamp, so make sure that you have 30 dinars at the time of departure from the country. You can also buy a stamp during your stay in banks, hotels and other institutions.
