Answer (changed )

Pepino is cultivated mainly in South America, especially in Peru and Chile, as well as in New Zealand. Less commonly, it can be found in some Southeast Asian countries where they experiment with growing it in subtropical regions. It needs a warm climate without sharp temperature fluctuations and fertile soil to grow. In the tropics, the ripening season of pepino is year-round, but in other regions it depends on planting time and weather. If you want to try a truly ripe and tasty fruit, it is best to look for it in its homeland during the harvest season.

We have detailed it in the article Pepino: what kind of fruit is it and how to eat it.
