Yes, definitely. According to traffic rules in force both in Russia and Abkhazia, children under 7 years old must be transported in a car seat. Children aged 7 to 11 can be fastened with a standard seat belt in the back seat, but for safety it is better to use a booster seat or a car seat.

At the border, the presence of a car seat is usually not checked, but at traffic police posts inside the country you may be fined. Do not risk the safety of children.
