The basic medical insurance policy for a trip to Abkhazia usually includes the following set of services:

• calling a doctor to the location for medical reasons;
• inpatient and outpatient treatment;
• transportation of the patient to a medical facility;
• compensation for the cost of medications prescribed by a doctor;
• medical evacuation (repatriation) to the home country;
