How to get to Lumpini Park in Bangkok by metro?

Getting to Lumpini Park by metro is very easy, as it is located right in the city center. You have two main options: take the underground metro (MRT) to Silom station or the elevated metro (BTS) to Sala Daeng station. From either station, it's just a 5-10 minute walk to the park. If you are staying in the Pratunam area, you can even walk to the park, stopping by the Erawan Shrine on the way. However, from the tourist area of Khao San, it is a bit more complicated: you can take a regular boat along the Chao Phraya River to Yodpinam/Rajnee pier, and then transfer to the metro to Silom station. Alternatively, take city bus No. 47, which for 8 baht will take you directly to the park.
