There are no metro stations near the Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun), but you can reach it by water transport from the nearest stations. The temple is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in the Thonburi district, and there is no direct metro access nearby.
However, you can use the underground MRT: the nearest station is Sanam Chai on the blue MRT line. From this station, you can walk to the Yodpiman, Tah Tian, or Wat Pho piers, and then transfer to a ferry or riverboat on the Chao Phraya River to the temple. It is also convenient to travel from the BTS Saphan Taksin station: from the Sathorn pier near the station, you can take a boat with an orange flag heading north to the Tha Tien pier, and from there, take a ferry to Wat Arun.
This route is not only economical (the boat fare costs from 5 to 15 baht) but also allows you to enjoy the views of Bangkok from the water. If you prefer ground transport, you can take a taxi, but it will be more expensive and take longer due to traffic.
