To move between terminals KLIA and KLIA2 at Kuala Lumpur Airport, you need to use transport; it cannot be done on foot. There are two main ways: a free shuttle bus and a paid train.

KLIA Transit train station — a quick way to transfer between terminals

1. Free Shuttle Bus — the most economical option.

  • Travel time: About 10 minutes.
  • Frequency: Every 10 minutes, 24/7.
  • Where to board:
    • At KLIA: Door 4 on Level 1 of the main building.
    • At KLIA2: Bay A10 on Level 1 of the Transportation Hub.
  • Route: KLIA → KLIA2 → Long-Term Car Park (LTCP) → KLIA. Ideal for flight transfers.

2. KLIA Transit Train — the fastest and most convenient option.

  • Travel time: Less than 5 minutes.
  • Cost: 2 ringgit (about 38 rubles) per person.
  • Where to board: The station is on the lower level of each terminal (follow signs for "KLIA Transit"). Payment can be made by cash or bank card at the machine (Russian UnionPay cards work).

If you have connecting flights in different terminals, be sure to allow extra time for the transfer, passport control, and re-check-in. It is best to have at least 3-4 hours in reserve for the entire procedure.
