Getting to the Seven Wells Waterfall (Telaga Tujuh) on Langkawi is easiest by rented transport or taxi. Here are the main ways:
- By rented transport (the most convenient option): The waterfall is located near Oriental Village and Pantai Kok beach. Drive along the main road of the island. Coordinates and exact location can be found on the map. There is parking available on site.
- By taxi (Grab): This is a popular and inexpensive app in Malaysia. A trip from popular tourist areas, such as Pantai Cenang or Tengah beaches, will cost about 25-30 ringgit (cheaper during the day, more expensive in the evening).
- On foot: If you are staying right on Pantai Kok beach, you can walk to the start of the trail, but it will take time.
Important point: transport will only take you to the parking lot at the entrance to the nature park. From the parking lot to the wells themselves, you will have to walk on foot up the stairs. This is about 800 meters of path with a constant ascent, which includes 638 steps. The climb takes from 20 to 40 minutes depending on your physical fitness.
We advise leaving in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds of tourists. After parking, you will encounter a payment counter for the entrance fee (10 ringgit), and only then does the trail begin.
