How much does entry to Ko Lipe cost and what is this fee?

Upon arriving at Ko Lipe, all tourists are required to pay the entrance fee to Tarutao National Marine Park, which includes the island. This is a mandatory fixed payment.

The cost in 2026 is:

• 200 Thai baht for adults.
• 100 Thai baht for children.

Payment can also be made in Malaysian ringgit — 35 ringgit. Payment is made in cash directly at the floating pier immediately after disembarking from the ferry, before passing through passport control (if you are coming from Malaysia).

After payment, you will be given a paper receipt. Be sure to keep it for the entire duration of your stay on the island! It may be requested by rangers when visiting other islands in the archipelago (for example, Adang or Ravi) or at some remote beaches of Ko Lipe.
