There is no direct transfer from Bangkok to Koh Lipe, as the island can only be reached by water. However, there are convenient combined routes that can be purchased as a single ticket.
The optimal route from Bangkok looks like this:
- By plane to Hat Yai. This is the nearest airport to Koh Lipe. The flight from Bangkok takes about 1.5 hours. Prices start from 4000 rubles one way.
- Ready transfer from Hat Yai Airport. Upon arrival, you can immediately board a pre-booked minibus that will take you to Pakbara Pier, and from thereβby ferry to Koh Lipe. The entire journey from the airport to the island will take approximately 4-5 hours.
An alternative, more scenic but longer option is to travel to one of Thailand's southern resorts (Phuket, Krabi, islands), relax there for a couple of days, and then purchase a transfer to Koh Lipe from there. For example, from Bangkok, you can fly to Phuket and buy a combined ticket (bus+ferry) at any travel agency there.
