There is no direct transfer from Bangkok to Koh Lipe, as the island can only be reached by water. However, there are convenient combined routes that can be purchased as a single ticket.

The optimal route from Bangkok looks like this:

  1. By plane to Hat Yai. This is the nearest airport to Koh Lipe. The flight from Bangkok takes about 1.5 hours. Prices start from 4000 rubles one way.
  2. Ready transfer from Hat Yai Airport. Upon arrival, you can immediately board a pre-booked minibus that will take you to Pakbara Pier, and from thereβ€”by ferry to Koh Lipe. The entire journey from the airport to the island will take approximately 4-5 hours.

An alternative, more scenic but longer option is to travel to one of Thailand's southern resorts (Phuket, Krabi, islands), relax there for a couple of days, and then purchase a transfer to Koh Lipe from there. For example, from Bangkok, you can fly to Phuket and buy a combined ticket (bus+ferry) at any travel agency there.

Lifehack: Do not try to cover the entire journey from Bangkok to Koh Lipe in one day without stopping. It is very tiring. It is better to break up the trip by staying overnight in Hat Yai, Phuket, or Krabi.
