Getting to the main TBS bus station (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) from the center of Kuala Lumpur is easiest by city LRT metro. This is the fastest and most convenient way.

You need to take the Sri Petaling Line (SPL), which is marked in brown on maps. Trains on this line go to Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) station. From this station, a covered pedestrian bridge leads to the TBS bus station itselfβ€”it's just a 3-5 minute walk following clear signs. The metro fare will cost about 2.9 Malaysian ringgit (MYR).

KLIA Express train at BTS station

An alternative, but less convenient option is bus No. 590 to Pudu Sentral station. The trip takes about 40 minutes, but the fare can be paid only with a transport card, cash and bank cards are not accepted.

If you are in a hurry or traveling with a lot of luggage, use a taxi via apps like Grab, Maxim, or Bolt. A ride from the center (e.g., from Petronas Towers) will cost about 20-30 MYR and take 20-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Important not to confuse: TBS is the bus terminal. BTS (Bandar Tasik Selatan) is the city transport station (metro, train). They are located nearby and connected by a passage. To leave TBS by city transport, follow the signs to BTS.
