Is it worth visiting Ta Phin Cave in Sapa?

Ta Phin Cave is worth visiting only if you are already in the village of the same name and have half an hour to spare. It is the only cave equipped for tourists in the Sapa area, but it is not a top attraction. Inside, you will see whimsical stalactites, stalagmites, and bats, but there is nothing particularly unique there. The length of the accessible part is about 300 meters.
It is better to plan your visit with a local guide (often children or women in traditional clothing) who are on duty at the entrance. They will not only guide you but also turn on the lighting, which does not work without them. Be sure to bring a headlamp, as the lighting inside is partial.
