From Hoi An to the Marble Mountains, you can travel by taxi, rented transport, or bus. The distance is about 20 km, and the journey takes from 20 to 40 minutes depending on traffic.

  • By taxi: Order through apps like Grab, Xanh Sm, or Maxim. A one-way trip will cost from 250,000 dong.
  • By rented motorbike or car: Renting a motorbike in Hoi An also costs from 120,000 dong per day. The road is simple—you need to drive along National Highway 1A (QL1A) towards Da Nang. The Marble Mountains will be on the right side, and they are hard to miss.
  • By bus: From Hoi An, bus #02/LK-02 runs. The peculiarity is that this is a combined route. You board in Hoi An on LK-02 (fare ~15,000 dong), which goes to the final stop near the mountains. There, it may change its number to 02, and you will need to pay an additional 8,000 dong for a second ticket to the mountains themselves. Sometimes LK-02 does not continue the journey, then you need to get off and wait for the next bus #02 or #16. Buses do not run very frequently, so keep this in mind.

If you plan to visit the tourist Water Mountain, you need to buy a ticket at the ticket office to enter it. For exploring the non-tourist mountains (Fire, Metal, Earth), tickets are not required, entry is free (donations at the temples are welcome).
