Where to buy fruits in Hanoi cheaply?

The lowest fruit prices in Hanoi we found at the wholesale Long Bien Market. This is the largest wholesale market in northern Vietnam, where sellers from the entire region purchase goods. For example, in 2025, a kilogram of mango here cost from 10,000 dong (about 29 rubles), while in the tourist area you cannot buy it for less than 35,000 dong (about 103 rubles).

Long Bien Market is located on the outskirts of the tourist area. It is a dirty and specifically smelling place (due to seafood), but if your goal is to buy fruits at minimal prices, this is the best option.

Alternative options for buying fruits:

• On the streets - convenient, but prices for tourists are very high, sometimes exotic fruits cost more than in Russia
• In supermarkets - prices are slightly lower than on the street, always clean and comfortable
• At Dong Xuan Market - you can also find fruits, but prices are higher than at Long Bien Market
