Where to buy souvenirs in Hanoi cheaper?

We found the lowest prices for souvenirs in Hanoi at the covered Dong Xuan Market after a little bargaining. Here you can buy the same magnets, keychains, and other souvenirs as in the shops of the tourist area, but at a price 2-3 times lower.

The Dong Xuan Market is located in the tourist area on its northern side and is the largest covered trading area in Hanoi. On the first floor, from the entrance on Dong Xuan Street, there are numerous souvenir stalls.

You can also buy souvenirs in small shops along the streets of the tourist area, but the prices there are initially higher. Important to remember: wherever you buy, be sure to bargain! The more items you take in one place, the bigger discount you can get. First ask for a "discount," then name your price.
