To see the main attractions of Vung Tau, 1-2 days are enough. City attractions can be visited independently by taxi, rented motorbike or bicycle, and if time permits - on foot.
On the first day, we recommend visiting the main attractions on Nui Nho (Small Mountain): the statue of Jesus Christ, Hai Dang Lighthouse and Hon Ba Island with a temple. On the second day, you can explore the attractions on Nui Lon (Big Mountain): Ho May Park amusement park, Thich Ca Buddha Temple and Chon Khong Zen Monastery.
Also worth including in the route:
- White Villa Blanche
- Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Museum
- Robert Taylor Weapons Museum
- Front Beach City Park
After visiting several temples, they may seem monotonous, so it's better to alternate religious sites with museums and parks. There is not much to see in the immediate vicinity of Vung Tau, except for the salt fields 30 km from the city (only from February to July).
