Citizens of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania can obtain a visa on arrival at major airports in Thailand: Bangkok, U-Tapao (Pattaya), Phuket, and others. The visa is issued for 15 days and costs 2000 baht.

To apply for a visa on arrival, the following documents must be provided:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Photo 3x4 or 4x6 without corners
  • Return ticket or ticket to a third country within 15 days
  • Financial means: 10,000 baht per person or 20,000 baht per family
  • 2000 baht for visa payment
  • Completed migration card

For citizens of other CIS countries, the visa must be obtained in advance at the Thai consulate. Citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan apply for visas in Ankara, and Armenia in Yerevan. The processing time for a Thai visa is usually 2-3 days, but for citizens of Tajikistan and the Chechen Republic, document review may take up to 14 days.

A 2-month visa when applying at the embassy in Moscow costs $25. You can also apply for a visa in other countries where there is a Thai embassy.
