Under the visa-free regime, you can stay in the Philippines for up to 30 days. This period can be extended in several ways depending on your plans.

Main options for extending your stay:

  • Extension for 29 days at the immigration office - total 59 days
  • Departure to a neighboring country and return to get a new stamp
  • Applying for a long-term LSVVE visa for six months

Extension costs:

  • First extension for 29 days: 3030 pesos
  • Subsequent extensions: 4800 pesos
  • Extension for six months (LSVVE): from 10500 pesos

To extend, you must contact the immigration office no later than 7 days before the visa expires. If staying more than 59 days, you will need to obtain an ID-card for 500 pesos. If staying more than a year, when departing, you must pay a departure tax of 1620 pesos in economy class.
