To enter the Philippines, it is mandatory to fill out the electronic eTravel form and obtain a QR code. This is done completely free of charge on the official website etravel.gov.ph.
Main rules for filling out eTravel:
- The form must be filled out 5 days before entering the country
- After filling out, the system generates a QR code
- The QR code is checked upon entry to the Philippines
- Filling out is required for all entrants, including children
Important points:
- This requirement is not related to COVID restrictions (they were lifted in July 2023)
- The eTravel system is used to track entrants and departures
- When departing from the Philippines, the eTravel form must also be filled out
Filling out takes about 10-15 minutes and requires basic information about passport, flight, and place of stay. We recommend saving the QR code on your phone or printing it in case of internet connection issues at the airport.
