Where to exchange money at Bangkok Airport at a favorable rate?

At Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, it is advantageous to exchange currency on the lowest floor, near the Airport Rail Link (ARL) station. This is where exchange offices are located with rates that are not inferior to the city's.

Popular options:

• Orange Superrich — often have queues, but the rate is excellent.
• Happy Rich and Kasikorn Bank — the rate is the same as Superrich, but usually without queues.

We have exchanged currency at Kasikorn Bank multiple times — no commissions, service is fast. Note that all exchange offices operate from 05:30 to 23:30 and are closed at night. Do not exchange money at the first exchange offices you see at the airport — the rate there is less favorable.

If you are flying further within Thailand, this option is convenient as it does not require a trip to the city center.
