Where can you eat cheaply and deliciously at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, instead of overpaying in restaurants?

Yes, at Suvarnabhumi Airport there is a place where you can eat tasty and truly cheap, almost like in the city. This is the Magic Food Point food court. Forget about expensive restaurants on the third floor — here prices are two times lower.

Magic Food Point is located on the first floor (arrivals hall). Head towards exit No. 8 or follow the sign "Foodcourt I". You will see a door behind which a large and clean food court is hidden. The payment system there is unusual: first you need to go to the cashier at the entrance, hand over cash and get a local plastic card. With this card you pay for food and drinks at any of the food court establishments. When you are done, return the card to the cashier and get the remaining money back.

The prices are really pleasing. For example, a portion of Pad Thai (famous Thai noodles) costs from 60 baht, and drinks from 20 baht. For comparison, on the third floor in regular cafes the same Pad Thai will cost from 120 baht. The only downside is that luggage trolleys are not allowed inside, there is little space, so you will have to leave them at the entrance.

If you just need a very budget snack or buy water and snacks, go down to the ground floor. There, right opposite the Airport Rail Link station, there is a 7-Eleven supermarket. Prices there are almost the same as in city stores. By the way, if you just need drinking water, on the first floor opposite exit No. 8 there are coolers with cold and hot water, as well as drinking fountains in several places in the terminal.
