What coffee is worth buying in Vietnam?

In Vietnam, it is best to buy coffee in large supermarkets such as Go (Big-C), Lotte Mart, or Coop Mart. There you will find the optimal combination of price and quality. Among trusted brands, we recommend Highlands Coffee, Trung Nguyen, and Me Trang — they offer different blends and packaging, but all are distinguished by good taste and affordable cost.

In markets and tourist shops, prices can be 1.5–2 times higher, and in places where tours are taken — even 3–4 times more expensive. Moreover, supermarkets often have promotions with real discounts, such as 'yellow price tags' at Go (Big-C). However, be careful: promotions sometimes sell substandard coffee, so inspect the packaging and check the aroma.

If you want bulk coffee beans, it is better to look for them in markets, but keep in mind that it is easy to overpay there, especially in tourist areas. For example, at Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City, the price for Arabica can reach 120,000 dong per 100 g, while in regular stores the same beans are sold for 40,000 dong.
