What can be used to pay for purchases in duty-free shops at Bali airport?

Prices for goods in duty-free shops at Bali airport are indicated in the local currency (rupiah), and it is most advantageous to pay at the checkout with them. But if you have run out of rupiah and want to buy something in the duty-free, you can also pay with dollars or euros, and possibly other currencies will be accepted (but not rubles). However, we have checked everything ourselves, and the exchange rate for converting dollars or euros into rupiah here will be much lower than the rate at exchange offices on the streets outside the airport, so it is better to spend the remaining rupiah here.
