What type of gasoline is best to fill a motorbike with in Bali and Indonesia?

In Indonesia, and in Bali in particular, gasoline is marked not by octane numbers like 92, 95, 100 as we have, but by brand names Pertalite (equivalent to 90), Pertamax (equivalent to 92-95), Pertamax Turbo (improved equivalent to 95-98). What type of gasoline you should fill your motorbike or car with, it's better to ask the rental company when renting. But usually, locals fill up with Pertalite. Rental companies most often say that you need to fill up with Pertamax, as it is better for the engine's lifespan, but in practice, you can really fill up with Pertalite.
