Museum of the history of Islamic Science and technology

Museum of the history of Islamic Science and Technology (Museum of the History of Science & Technology in Islam) tells about the achievements of Science and technology of the Islamic world from ancient times to the present day. There are many exhibits on astronomy, chemistry, physics, medicine, geology, architecture and other Applied Sciences that were invented by scientists of Muslim countries and regions. Many of these inventions have made a huge contribution to the basic sciences and the development of civilization, but mostly their copies or models are stored here, while the originals are in major museums around the world, or have already been lost.

The museum as a whole is interesting, especially if you understand English or German, in which the signatures to the exhibits are duplicated, but honestly, it is impossible to understand the purpose and principle of operation of most of them without scientific training. The purpose and principle of operation of some of them can be found in the videos on the screens nearby, but they are only in Turkish. There are also guided tours in English, or you can try to pick up tours in Russian here.
