Kapali Carsi indoor market or Grand Bazaar - the main traditional marketplace of the city, steeped in history. It was originally built in 1335, but in the XIX century was partially destroyed during an earthquake and rebuilt. To this day, inside there is a trade in clothing, lamps, handicrafts, jewelry, antiques, souvenirs. Be careful with buying antiques and antique coins: there is no guarantee that this is not a fake. Here you can exchange cash at a very good rate, even better than in Istanbul. But be careful not to fall for deception both when exchanging currency and when shopping. Prices for tourists are initially called inflated, but you can bargain and reduce them almost twice.
