You can get to the Nong Nooch garden from Pattaya, famous for its huge orchid collection, by taxi via the Grab, Bolt or Maxim apps. The minimum one-way fare from the city center starts from 300 baht, but in practice most often you will pay more – from 350 to 500 baht depending on the area, time of day and traffic.

If you want to save money, a motorbike taxi will cost about half as much – about 150–200 baht. But remember that the ride is about 20 kilometers, and with luggage or when traveling with elderly people, this option is unlikely to be comfortable.

Important nuance: the return trip from Nong Nooch to Pattaya often becomes a problem. Cars from there are rarely ordered through apps, so drivers on the spot ask for about 500 baht or more. It is better to agree in advance with the taxi driver who brought you, or ask at the park ticket office about a transfer.

Keep in mind: if you plan to return by taxi, budget at least 500 baht for the way back. Otherwise, especially towards evening, there is a risk of being left without transport and overpaying significantly more.

By the way, it is more profitable to buy park tickets online. For example, on Trip.com a basic entrance ticket costs from 340 baht instead of 600 baht at the box office. Therefore, if you add up the cost of transfer and tickets, it is more practical to take a ready-made tour with minibus pickup from the hotel – it will cost from 800 baht and usually already includes entrance and the elephant show.

You can see on the map where Nong Nooch is located to estimate the distance and cost of the trip in advance.
