How to get from Bangkok airport to Pattaya on your own?

You can get from Bangkok airport (Suvarnabhumi) to Pattaya on your own in several ways. The most popular and budget option is the scheduled bus No. 389, which departs from exit No. 8 on the first floor of the terminal. The fare starts from 139 baht to the Northern station and from 162 baht to Jomtien station. There are also Bell Service buses with hotel delivery (from 216 baht) and the cheapest government bus No. 999 (122 baht), but it runs only 4 times a day. If you are not on a budget, you can take a taxi (from 1200 baht) or a pre-booked transfer (from 1500 baht).

All bus tickets are sold at the ticket offices on the first floor near exit No. 8 (Gate 8).
