KLIA Express is a high-speed train that travels from the central transport hub KL Sentral to KLIA airport in 28-33 minutes. The ticket price for an adult (12 years and older) is 55 ringgit (about $12), for a child from 2 to 12 years old — 25 ringgit.

Important point: The train departs not from the tourist center, but from KL Sentral station. You first need to get to this station by city metro, monorail, or taxi. Consider this additional time and cost when planning.

Previously, there were two types of trains: KLIA Express (non-stop) and KLIA Transit (with stops). Now there is no difference — the ticket costs the same (55 ringgit), and trains run at a single fare. You can no longer choose the cheaper Transit option.

Tickets can be purchased at ticket offices or machines at KL Sentral station. Payment is accepted in cash (ringgit) or bank cards, including UnionPay. Seats are always available, no advance booking required.

The convenience of KLIA Express lies in its speed and punctuality. Additionally, at KL Sentral station there is a remote airport terminal (Air Terminal) where you can check in for your flight and drop off your luggage in advance, then travel to the airport light.
