You can get to Batu Caves from central Kuala Lumpur in several ways: by train, taxi, or bus. The most convenient and popular option is the KTM commuter train.

? By KTM train (the most convenient way)

Take the Seremban line and go to the final station Batu Caves KTM Komuter station. From the station to the entrance of the complex is a 2-3 minute walk.

  • Where to board: From the center, it is convenient to board at Bank Negara, Kuala Lumpur, or KL Sentral stations (which can be reached by monorail or LRT).
  • Cost: From 2.5 ringgit (about $0.55).
  • Travel time: About 30-40 minutes from KL Sentral.
  • Important: The schedule differs on weekdays and weekends, trains run every 30-40 minutes from 5:15 AM to 10:35 PM. Payment requires a Touch N Go transport card, cash is not accepted.

? By taxi

A trip via Grab, Maxim, or MyCar apps will cost 20-40 ringgit ($4.3-$8.6) one way, depending on the departure point. You can hire a car with waiting time through a hotel for about 100 ringgit ($21.5).

? By bus

Not the most convenient option, as buses run irregularly and the stop is 500 meters from the entrance. The fare is also from 2.5 ringgit.
