Yes, you can buy a ferry ticket from Langkawi to Koh Lipe at the pier ticket office on the day of departure, but we do not recommend doing this, especially during the high season (December-March). Seats may be sold out, and you risk being left without a ticket for the desired departure or for the entire day.

It is much more reliable and often more advantageous to buy tickets online in advance. This can be done on trusted websites:

• Trip.com — shows current schedules and prices, accepts Russian cards.
• 12go.asia — allows booking and paying in cash at 7-Eleven, which is convenient if you don't have a card.

If you still decide to buy on the spot, arrive at the pier at least 1.5-2 hours before your desired departure time. Keep in mind that demand is especially high during Malaysian and Thai holidays.
