What to take with you on a ferry trip from Langkawi to Koh Lipe?

When going on a ferry from Langkawi to Koh Lipe, be sure to take the following items with you:

• A warm sweater or windbreaker. The air conditioners in the ferry cabin work very powerfully, and even in the tropics you can get cold.
• Motion sickness medication, if you get seasick. Bags are usually not available on board.
• Cash in Thai baht to pay the national park fee (200 baht per person). Cards are not accepted.
• Water and a light snack, although there may be a small buffet on board.
• Wet wipes and sunscreen. When transferring to a long-tail boat on Koh Lipe, you may be exposed to the sun.
• Documents: passport, printed/electronic ticket and TDAC confirmation—keep them in an easily accessible place, not in your suitcase.
