To have somewhere to go for a walk right from the hotel in the evening, it's best to stay in one of these central tourist areas of Hurghada:

  1. El Mamsha: This is the best choice for those who love evening walks. It is here that the long (5 km) pedestrian zone on Youssef Afifi Street with cafes, bars, and shops is located. The area is modern, well-maintained, with many 4-5* hotels. It's also not far to other popular places, like Sheraton or Marina.
  2. Center (the area around Sheraton Street): If you want to be in the thick of things. You'll be within walking distance of the main shopping street Sheraton, the pedestrian Sheri Street, and the Marina promenade. The area is lively, noisy, with a wide selection of accommodations of different levels.

What to avoid: If the possibility of evening walks is important to you, try not to stay in remote hotel complexes in the north (for example, near El Gouna) or in the south of Hurghada. Outside their territory, there is often no infrastructure—only roads and wasteland. To get to places for walking, you'll have to take a taxi each time.
