Can I pay on Trip.com with a Mir card?

Yes, you can pay on Trip.com with a Mir card, but not from all banks. Based on our personal experience, which includes over 100 successful bookings, Mir cards from some banks work, while from others they do not.
- Work: Mir cards from banks such as Russian Standard. Their payment goes through successfully.
- Do not work: Mir cards from Sberbank in 2026 are generally not accepted. Also, the platform does not accept cards from the UnionPay payment system at all, not even allowing you to enter their number.
Important life hack: It doesn't matter if you have a debit or credit card—both types successfully go through payment if the bank and payment system are supported by Trip.com.
If your Mir card doesn't go through, don't despair. Try a Mastercard or Visa card issued by a Russian bank before 2022, or use a new and very convenient method—payment via SBP through a QR code, which is now available on the website.
We have explained in detail all the nuances and ways to solve problems in our article: Trip.com does not accept the card – what to do.
