Lang Biang Mountain in Da Lat: How to reach the summit on foot via the short trail?

To reach the summit of Ba Peak on Lang Biang Mountain via the short trail, start from the information center. Here is a step-by-step guide:
- Purchase an entrance ticket (50,000 dong) at the information center (main entrance on the map).
- Do not go through the main entrance onto the asphalt. Instead, turn onto the dirt path to the right of the entrance. If you don't see it, ask the staff about the "short trail."
- Walk along this path for about 560 meters to a fork. There will be a left turn through the fields (view the turn on the map). On this section, you can even ride a motorbike, but you'll need to leave it on the roadside.
- Next, the trail will lead you through coffee plantations and forest to an intermediate ticket checkpoint. Here, you will need to show your tickets.
- After the checkpoint, continue along the well-marked trail. The final ascent to the summit itself is quite steep and slippery, but ropes are strung for assistance.
Attention! On community maps (Maps.me, Organic Maps), an even more direct path may be shown, where at the fork you should go straight instead of left. Do not take this trail β it is collapsed and dangerous.
The entire short route is about 4 km with an elevation gain of 700 meters and takes approximately 2 hours for the ascent. Be sure to wear comfortable trekking shoes and bring water.
