From Phu Bai Airport to the center of Hue, you can take a taxi or bus. The distance is about 15 km, and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

  • By taxi: The most convenient way. The cost of the trip when ordered through an app (Grab, Xanh SM) will be about 200,000 dong. If you take a taxi from the terminal parking lot, the price may be slightly higher. The trip will take about 30 minutes.
  • By bus: A more budget-friendly option. City buses No. 2 and No. 11 run from the airport terminal. According to official information, they operate at least every 30 minutes. The fare will be significantly lower than by taxi. However, this method is less predictable for tourists with luggage, and it's better to check the schedule on-site.
Important: Hue Airport mainly serves domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. If you are flying from abroad, you will likely arrive at Da Nang Airport, from where you will need to travel separately to Hue for about 2 hours.
