The unified ticket in Hoi An is an official pass for visiting the interior spaces of key historical and cultural sites in the Old Town. It is not a ticket for entry into the area itself (which is free), but specifically for visiting museums, ancient houses, temples, and communal houses.

How the unified ticket works:

  • Cost: 120,000 Vietnamese dong (about $5).
  • Validity period: 3 days from the time of purchase.
  • What it includes: The right to visit 5 sites of your choice from a general list that includes 25 attractions.
  • How to use: The ticket is electronic (even if purchased at the ticket office). At the entrance to each site, it is scanned, and one "visit" is deducted from it. The ticket is not personalized, so several people can use one ticket in turn (but cannot enter simultaneously).
  • Where to buy: At special ticket offices (e.g., near the Japanese Bridge or on An Hoi Island) or conveniently online with card payment.

Our recommendation: Don't strive to visit all 5 places if you don't want to. Choose the most interesting ones. We advise paying attention to: Traditional Show (Hoi An Traditional Performance House), Hoi An Museum, Ancient Tan Ky House, Quan Cong Temple, and Minh Huong Communal House.
