In the Marble Mountains of Da Nang, you can see caves with sanctuaries, Buddhist temples, viewpoints, and marble carving villages. The main attractions are concentrated on Thuy Son Mountain (Water Mountain), which is the main tourist area.

  • Caves: The most interesting are the cave system inside the mountain, where Buddhist altars and statues are located. Especially impressive is the passage through Van Thong Cave to one of the viewpoints—it is very steep and narrow.
  • Viewpoints. There are two. One is through Van Thong Cave, the other is Highest Peak, offering a stunning view of the sea and all four other mountains (in good weather).
  • Buddhist pagodas and shrines. Throughout the route on Thuy Son Mountain, you will encounter beautiful temples and pagodas.
  • Heaven and Hell Cave (Am Phu Cave). A separate and very atmospheric attraction that is definitely worth visiting. It symbolizes Buddhist concepts of the afterlife.
  • Marble carving villages. At the foot of the mountains, especially in Non Nuoc village, you will find hundreds of shops with marble figurines, jewelry, tableware, and sculptures. This is a great place to buy souvenirs.

In addition to the paid tourist part, there are four other mountains (Wood, Fire, Metal, Earth) that are rarely visited by tourists. For lovers of lesser-known trails, we have detailed them in the article "Secret Marble Mountains: What Mass Tourists Don't See".
