We found a wide selection of sportswear and outdoor clothing in Ho Chi Minh City at the Russian Market. This is truly a market with rows filled with clothing, very popular among foreign tourists. Here they sell trekking boots, multi-layer jackets with Gore-Tex membrane and windbreakers, hiking pants, thermal underwear, synthetic T-shirts under the North Face brand and other well-known brands.

But it's important to understand that in most cases these are counterfeits or low quality, so each item needs to be chosen very carefully. We also bought outdoor clothing with membrane here more than once, and so far there have been no complaints.

If you want sportswear with guaranteed quality, then in Ho Chi Minh City there is Decathlon, even several stores. Prices converted to rubles for most goods here are noticeably lower than in the 'Desport' store that replaced Decathlon in Russia, so you can buy with confidence. However, the selection of serious trekking and mountain footwear here is rather weak.
