In Vung Tau, there are many Buddhist and Catholic temples, but among them, several are especially worth visiting:
- House of Pure Nirvana (Niet Ban Tinh Xa) - one of the largest and most beautiful temples with a reclining Buddha
- Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda - the largest Buddhist complex in Vung Tau
- Chon Khong Zen Monastery - known for a huge golden Buddha statue and the best panoramic view of the city
- Linh Son Co Tu Pagoda - the oldest temple in Vung Tau with an ancient Buddha statue over 1600 years old
- Mother Buddha Cao Dai Temple - a unique temple with a non-traditional religion and architecture
- Statue of the Virgin Mary and Church of the Holy Mother of God - the largest Catholic church in Vung Tau
Most temples operate during daytime hours from 7-8 AM to 5-7 PM, and admission is free. After visiting 3-4 temples, they may seem monotonous, so we recommend choosing the most interesting ones and combining their visit with museums and parks.
