For visa-free entry to Thailand, Russian citizens need the following documents:

  • Valid international passport – must be valid for the entire period of stay in the country
  • Completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) – an electronic form filled out on the website tdac.immigration.go.th
  • Return tickets or tickets to a third country – within the 60-day visa-free period
  • Proof of financial solvency – it is recommended to have the equivalent of 10,000 baht per person

Additional requirements:

  • Hotel booking is not a mandatory condition
  • Medical insurance is not required but highly recommended
  • For minors traveling without parents, a birth certificate and notarized consent from both parents are necessary

When passing through passport control, the inspector may ask to present any of these documents, so it is better to have both originals and copies of all necessary papers with you.
