How to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Khao San Road in Bangkok?

The most convenient way to get to Khao San Road in Bangkok is the direct S1 express bus, which departs directly from the airport terminal. It costs 60 baht and goes without transfers straight to the tourist area.
The S1 bus departs from exit No. 7 on the first floor of the terminal. Operating hours are from 06:00 to 20:00, with departures every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. This is the only public transport that goes directly to Khao San without transfers.
If you arrive late in the evening or at night when the bus is no longer running, you can take a taxi. A taxi ride will cost 250-400 baht by meter plus 50 baht for the toll road. It's better to order a taxi through the official counter at the airport or via the Grab app.
