There is a lot of interesting things for tourists on the Asiatique waterfront in Bangkok. This is a large recreation and entertainment area on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which is especially beautiful in the evening.

The main attraction of Asiatique is the Asiatique Sky Ferris wheel, 60 meters high (about 20 floors). It offers beautiful views of the city and the river. The cost of a ride: 500 baht for adults and 200 baht for children under 120 cm tall.

Also located on the Asiatique territory are:

  • Numerous restaurants and cafes with Thai and international cuisine
  • Boutiques and shops with clothing, souvenirs, and handmade goods
  • A small amusement park with rides
  • A stage for shows and events
  • A walking area along the river with beautiful views

Asiatique is open from 11:00 to 24:00 without days off, but it's best to come here in the evening when the lighting is turned on and a special atmosphere is created. Entry to the territory is free, you only need to pay for rides, food, and purchases.

You can get to Asiatique by metro to Saphan Taksin station, and then by free boat on the river. You can also take a regular boat on the Chao Phraya (orange line) to the Wat Rat Singkhon pier.
