The fastest and cheapest way to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the center of Bangkok is the airport metro ARL (Airport Rail Link). The City Line runs from the airport to Phaya Thai station with stops, the fare is from 15 to 45 baht. From Phaya Thai station, you can transfer to the elevated metro BTS and continue to any part of the city.
ARL trains run from 05:30 to 00:00 with intervals of 10β23 minutes. Tickets are sold at vending machines at the stations, and control is carried out upon entry and exit. If you have a lot of luggage, note that during peak hours the carriages may be crowded.
Previously, there was an Express Line for 90 baht without stops, but it is currently suspended. For convenience, you can get off at Makkasan station, where there is a transfer to the underground metro MRT, or at Ratchaprarop station, which is closest to the Baiyoke Sky Tower.
This method is especially advantageous compared to a taxi, which can cost significantly more in traffic jams. Additionally, the metro allows you to avoid road congestion.
