Answer (changed )

The cost of travel on the Bangkok metro depends on the type of transport and distance. BTS Skytrain costs from 16 to 59 baht, MRT subway — from 16 to 42 baht, ARL airport rail link — from 15 to 45 baht, and MRL monorail — from 19 to 45 baht. Prices may change, so always check the current fare at the stations.

Payment is based on the number of stations: the farther you go, the more expensive it is. For example, the minimum trip on BTS will cost 16 baht, and the longest — up to 59 baht. Discounts are available for children, for example, in MRT, a child's ticket costs from 8 to 21 baht.

Tickets can be purchased as single-use or using passes. A one-day pass for BTS costs 150 baht, for MRT — 120 baht. Stored-value cards, such as Rabbit Card for BTS, do not offer significant savings but save time when buying tickets.

When buying a ticket from a machine, select the destination station, and the system will show the cost. If you don't have small change, exchange money at the ticket counter. Don't forget to keep your ticket until the end of the trip, as it will be needed to exit.
