Are rubles accepted on the island of Bali?

No, Russian rubles are not needed by anyone on the island of Bali, so you cannot pay for purchases or exchange them at a normal rate anywhere on the island. We have seen cash ruble exchange in a couple of exchange offices in Bali on the currency board, but the purchase rate for rubles there was twice as low as the official (exchange) rate, and it's not certain that they would even accept them there. So for now, forget about bringing cash rubles to Bali and Indonesia in general, they will be useless there.
