According to current regulations (in 2025), you can bring 2 liters of alcohol into Egypt duty-free per person. However, this allowance does not apply to children; only persons over 20 years old can bring alcohol and cigarettes.
Previously, there was indeed a limit of 1 liter of alcohol per person, but in 2023 it was increased to 2 liters. However, most websites still indicate the old limit.
