Yes, you can take euros to Thailand, there is no fundamental difference. Both euros and dollars are easily exchanged in Thailand, and euros even cause fewer problems. The fact is that old-year dollar bills are exchanged reluctantly, sometimes at a lower rate, and some private exchange offices do not accept them. Overall, this is not a problem because you can still exchange old dollars, but just keep in mind that it may not be at the first exchange office you come across. As for the difference in exchange rates, the dollar is still more favorable in the end. We have repeatedly calculated the difference in rates when exchanging from rubles through dollars or euros to Thai baht at the same time, and the difference is ultimately very small, about 1-2 percent. For small amounts of a few hundred dollars or euros, you will hardly notice it. You can see this calculation here, we update it periodically - https://nashaplaneta.net/asia/thai/valuta-dengi-v-tailande#chtobrat .

So in the end, you can take euros, dollars, and even yuan; there will be no big difference in the final rate for small amounts. But another question is how these currencies will behave in the future relative to other currencies and each other. But we, and indeed no one, knows this, so if you are buying currencies for long-term storage, the situation may change.
