You can buy fruits in Bangkok almost everywhere: they are sold on street markets from stalls, in large supermarkets Big-C, Lotus, Foodland and others. Once we even bought fruits from a farmer's truck that came to the tourist area of Khao San Road for several days in a row, and the fruits were sold at a very good price. But in the 7/11 mini-markets found at every step, we never came across fruits.

But it is worth honestly saying that the prices for fruits in Bangkok from street stalls and in supermarkets are quite high, and sometimes even reach those that can be found in Russian supermarkets. If you want the freshest fruits at a very low price, it is best to go to the specialized fruit market Mahanak. There you can buy anything, and prices are several times lower than in other places. For example, we saw mangoes there from 20 baht per kilogram, while at the same time from stalls and in supermarkets it was not cheaper than 60 baht. Another example: we bought Longkong fruit here for 30 baht per kilogram, while nowhere else in Bangkok could we buy it cheaper than 100 baht.

Perhaps there are other fruit markets in Bangkok, but Mahanak is located almost in the city center, and it is easy to get there by local public transport from popular tourist areas Pratunam, Siam, Sukhumvit and of course from Khao San Road. It is located on the map here.

From the Khao San Road area, you can get there by bus 509 or 47 for 15 and 8 baht respectively. From Pratunam or Siam, you can walk, but it depends on where your hotel is located, or again by city buses, for example routes 59 or 60. From Sukhumvit, there are also buses, or you can take the metro to Phaya Thai or Ratchathewi station and walk a bit.
