Ottoman House Museum (Osmanlı Evi Muzesi) depicts a traditional residential building of the Ottoman period. Equipped in a wooden house built in the XVII century. It is believed that it was built on the site of a mansion belonging to Sultan Murad II, and his heir, Sultan Mehmet II, was born here.
The house museum consists of two floors and a basement. Inside, the atmosphere of traditional housing and life of those times is recreated, there are conditionally historical exhibits. You can see how modestly the traditional dwelling was equipped, separate male and female rooms for receiving guests and spending time. Quite an interesting place to visit during a visit to the muradier complex nearby. Especially just to visit the museum you should not go. The entire visit will take 5 minutes. At the entrance there are information signs with a description in English.
